About Us

American Sign Language was my first language. As the oldest child of two deaf parents, ASL was the primary language in the home.  I actually did not begin to learn to speak English until I was school age.  Being a native speaker and growing up in the deaf community, I became passionate to educate others about the deaf culture and the beauty of the language.  I worked professionally as an interpreter for almost a decade. After returning to teaching ASL in 2020 via ZOOM, I realized how the format of online works very well for learning the language and giving students an opportunity to learn and practice from the comfort of home.  I look forward to working with you and sharing my knowledge with my students.
